Hi folks,

I am meeting my mate Mark for brekkie on Sunday at the Waterfront Cafe, Bramford. Anyone fancy meeting there? We will be there around 10am, unless it is super-icy and then it may be a bit later.

For those who do not know it, the address is Loraine Way, Bramford, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP8 4JS. It is the place we trundled over to after brekkie at Wally's a while back.

The coffee is distinctly instant, but other than that it seems ok.

Hope to see a few folks there. :thumb

Ice permitting we'll give it a go.

I'll bring 'my leetle friend' for you if you can get him home safely.

PS - Booked Douai and crossings. 12.40 out Fri, 14.40 back Mon

That would be lovely, Mr Badger sir, and a pleasure to see you again. Will the little beauty fit into a vario panner (wrapped in cloths for protection)?

If you needed a proper coffee fix we could always find somewhere else after brekkie. We could revisit our last coffee stop but then everyone would know about it. :augie

Take care,

Matt

Might be able to swing it, depends if the management is happy to forgo a massive lie-in for house training duties with the puppy.

NB sadly none of the above statement is an exciting euphemism....:eek

Won't fit in pannier but well wrapped in cloths ands a bin bag across the back seat should be ok. It's in it's own gig bag.

EDIT: Just got the little feller out to tune and check and found thatthe neck is broken near the head. Bugger - must have suffered a fatal injury while standing around the office. Bum.

No worries, dude. Hope to see you there. :thumb

Hi all,

Apparently tomorrow has some kind of significance for those in relationships? It transpires that Sarah is keen on a Valentine's breakfast but less enthusiastic about getting chilly on the bike. :augie

Anyway, I will keep working on her and I WILL be at the Waterfront but it may have to be in the car in order to make things domestically acceptable. :ymca

We shall see...

Madame's eyes are rolling about like she's on something chemical at hearing that. You'd better get plenty of

going if we're going to have a peaceful

and a

. Let's hope you're not relying on a gift from BP Connect as well.

Well I am sure I can muster something. Maybe some ketchup squeezed in the shape of a heart. Does that please Madame? :augie

I reckon we will be in the car for breakfast, but not 100% sure until the morning. I need my "my other car's a GS" sticker urgently. We will have to cheer admiringly at anyone arriving on 2 wheels.
:clap

Hi all,
Nice to meet with you today, good excuse for a pleasant, if nippy, ride.:D

Just got in from cleaning trhe old banger too, so all in all a good day for me. Sad, innit?:toungincheek

If you guys (or anyone else here for that matter) wanna head for slummy, I mean sunny, Lowestoft any time, I'll show you my local bike shop and greasy spoon combo, London Road Inc. :thumb2

Anyhoo, thanks again. :beerjug:

Put me down for this Argee,

Sorry I missed today but we had friends staying, hope to meet up soon.
Nick

The return trip to Lowestoft sounds excellent, sir. Next time it will hopefully be a little warmer and Sarah will be happy on the back.

Good to meet up. :thumb

Got home at 18.00. 0c on the way in. Bikes totally filthy.

Gastronomic tour of Suffolk was great. Bought groovy cheese from a wagon and smokey fish from Pinneys in Orford. and had some for tea.

Nice to see everyone.

I must get to Orford to stock up on Smoked cheese. Maybe that and Lowestoft to London Road Inc could form the basis of the next select Tosser tour. :D

By the way, the link to my Muvi footage is HERE. As mentioned, the frame rate is low and with the winter sun (and looking through the pinlock visor) some of the colour vibrancy is lacking. I am aiming to get it better before Castellane and the Alps.

Cheers,

Matt
