Hi guys my wife has got me a 24 hours with a Harley experience.
We pick up the bikes from Guilford in Surry then back to Brighton where we are staying for a week
Monday lunchtime till Tuesday lunchtime.
Can anyone recommend where to go to make the most of the short time I have ?

Twizz will be along to advise, I used to Live in Sussex, but it was mostly a drug haze and I have little memory left.

There are some great trails starting at Newlands Corner - just outside Guildford.

Does the bike have to be returned clean?

Day One = Turn left out of the Dealer and right at the mini roundabout - follow this road for around 3 miles or so to the A3 to Portsmouth head South to Petersfield, this 40 odd minutes will get you used to the HD (Which Model?)

Turn left onto the A272 from the A3 to Midhurst then Petworth, this is a stunning road following the South Downs - Both Midhurst and Petworth are worth a tea and cake stop should you have the need - from Petworth take the A283 to Pulborough turning right onto the A29 (London Rd) to Arundel - you will cross back over the downs at Bury Hill - Arundel is also worth a look if you have time. From Arundel join the A27 East to Brighton.

Day Two = A259 to Beachy Head/Eastbourne - North on the A22 to Uckfield and re-join the A272 at Maresfield ( Worth riding in both directions) you can do Petworth on Day one and Midhurst on day two for coffees etc - at the A3 in Petersfield you can turn right back to Guildford, or if you have time keep heading west on the A272 to Winchester - turning right to Alton just before the end follow the A31 to Alton and then Guildford!

These roads suit a HD !! on the A272 you have lots of options to head up to Guildford/Newlands corner but some of those roads are a bit Gnarley and less suited to the HD experience.....

Spoke to Harley in chesterfield he suggested

breakout and glide the one with pannier no top box or much of a pillion seat but said it had sat nav,so we would not get lost.
Were insured for both so can keep swapping and changing.
