broke me tour x

Just broke the plastic bolty thing that holds the peak and visor
on my tour x. Ive only had it 2 weeks how much do recon
they might be? and do arai do ones that arnt hollow i.e STRONGER

I think they are hollow as a safety feature, so that the peak will come off easily in case of impact. I have some spare ones from pevious such occurences .
Mine are from the MX5, but I am guessing they are the same, otherwise any decent Arai stockist should be able to get them for you.

I use cage nut bolts (for computer racks) they seem to fit just fine. though I dont have the peak on as i use on a sports bike now. These wont break if u dropped with the peak but will probably strip the threads in the lid or break the peak (think these cost a fair bit to replace)

Or go to your local toy & hobby shop and buy a pack of M5 plastic captive/blind nuts & bolts - they come in a set of 4 with some blind nuts (which you discard). Trim to length. I've seen black, silver and white.
