I had problems with the Pinlock insert on my Tour X4, and the 'seal' would regularly fail and so the insert didn't work as it should. It was starting to fog up on one side and then it would spread across the visor.
I bought the helmet from BikeStop, and fitted the pinlock that came with the helmet myself as soon as I got it home. I have used them before on other Arai lids. When I started having issues I took it back there and they checked it, and said that it was the wrong shaped insert.
Looking at the previous posts, I noticed the pic of the two different types of Pinlock insert that has been posted. The one that came with the helmet didn't have the cut-outs for the top vents, whereas the replacement I got from BikeStop did. They fitted this for me and since then have had no further issues. I have also taken it out to clean it and the visor a couple of times and it continues to work fine.
