Broken down on A49 on sunday

Well there i was, bimbling southbound along the A49 towards shrewsbury looking forward to a great big fry up, my first proper ride out in weeks when my fuel pump decides to pack in! One call to the RAC later and i'm sat behind the barrier on the corner on which my bike has decided to park, waving at all the cheery bikers who are passing, some of which slow down to offer a thumbs up to make sure i'm ok but most just concentrating on their line (and avoiding my machine which has its hazards on)!!

And during my 2 hour pitstop do you know who the ONLY person to actually physically stop and turn round to make sure i was ok was? Yep, a GS ADV rider!!

I'm sorry i didnt catch his name now but his efforts were very much appreciated as i sat there sweating my b****cks off in the heat!!

Its an R850R (2003 model), no news yet but Motorrad Services are on the case...!!

I'm not complaining, the RAC chappie got me home just as the lights went out for the moto gp race!!
