On my 2010 GSA I found that my drive/fog lamps worked sometimes and other times not.
It was on my to do list.
I thought it was the switch but on further inspection it turned out to be the main wire that connects to the left drive lamp.
One of the two wires had broken flush with the connecter that plugs into the bottom of the lamp.
Is it possible to replace either the connecter or the whole cable ?

Can you ease out the terminal and solder it to the wire? you will need a small screwdriver to hold the tag back so the terminal can come out.

Google images might find a similar connector or buy a new wire from BMW.

Its a great excuse to get some new LED spots. Avoid any with a flashing facility.

Mine went in exactly the same place. The connectotrd are a standard type, which has an additional extra casing around it for no apparent good reason.
I got a new connector off ebay. You will need to search for item number 380461207410 to get started. That is what I bought. I am using crappy TapaTalk with the even more useless eBay Android app so finding, copying and posting a correct link is harder than it ought to be.

Very true. Got the 'cheaper' alternative pointed out by nicholsonj2252 and bingo good as new.

Saw this thread and decided to drill a 2.5mm hole in the back of the casing and couple of small tie wraps to give them more of a chance.
