Broken Rear Brake Fluid Reservoir

Unfortunately a gorilla at my local dealer seems to have over-tightened the filler cap so I (equally ape-like) managed to break the plastic mounting removing it. I have made a temporary repair with (rather appropriately) Gorilla Glue but am looking around for a replacement but apart from an overpriced second hand one, am just swamped with protectors or universal ones which I don't know will fit.

Does anyone have a part number, pattern part suggestion? (2015 R1200GS LC, not Adv)

The aluminium one would be better than plastic if you’re after durability

Thanks, I saw this sort of thing, but the mounting bracket is in a very different place which is why I was hoping to find if anyone knew what the OEM ones are. Hopefully they aren't special BMW builds

redmonster's one looks like it will fit but I also tried the main dealer and an OEM one is a reasonable £22 so I may just go with that.

I don't think I'll bother, impact wasn't the issue with me, more that I didn't realise the force I was putting on the plastic bracket when I was trying to undo the filler lid. I was surprised to see so many adverts for protective cages, I can see how it may get hit off-roading but it doesn't look like it would be an issue with road use.

If it's only the mounting tab that's broken, I'd have just bent a thin metal strap around the reservoir and folded/drilled a new tab.

Or used a large zip tie.

I have repaired it with epoxy for now, but I'm not sure how strong that will be. It goes in for MOT in a few weeks so for the sake of £22 and a bit of time, I think I'll replace it if the glue doesn't hold. But yes you are right, I could do it with a couple of bolts and a metal tab.
