Broken Screen adjuster dial

Hi all,

Broken Screen mover dial /knob Advice needed. 1st time post so I hope it's in the right place

I decided to lift the screen position on my '22 1250 GSA. I turned the dial and it started moving...until the dial sheered off in my hand (About half way through the range of movement so i know it wasnt me forcing the 'wrong way')

Has anyone had this problem before?
Should this be covered under warranty? (Still got 2 months or so)
Is there a 'metal' replacement?

Never thought that adjuster has felt upto the job, GS and GSA the same.
