Broken sidestand switch...again.

Hello all.
I am on my second sidestand switch, and now I have had it
But I just need some help in the wiring, I found that if I connect the white and the brown, the bike starts fine.
What am I suppose to do with the red wire ?
I will disconnect the switch permanent, solder it all up,
and wrap it in heat shrink, and thats it.

I moved the switch off the side stand to another location on the main bike frame.

did the same left the switch in one piece locked the mechanism with a bolt and a couple of washers. Then re cable tied the lot back up higher and on inside of frame section.

Kept all the bits if I need to can put it all back the way Messr. BMW wanted it to be in first place.
