... Trouble is, in another five years or so there'll be another fan dangled super brilliant bike that I'll think ... 'ooooo gotta have that ...'
Ha ha .... they've got ya
The £100 - £150 a month is a good deal, the trouble is these days, with all the modern electronics, you really need to swop every couple of years (two year warranty/recovery) write off the 100 - 150 a month and enjoy some superb motorcycling
.... or you go for a keeper, something that you really can maintain yourself, or with the help of a pal down the road
Now I really would like the new F800GS Adventure coming shortly, but at the very least it's gonna cost me £5K to £6K to swop
£5K to £6K is a lot of money to a mere pensioner, all together now ... sob sob

... but its also a lot of petrol, hotels, ferry crossings, visas, carnets, maps and bier tokens

Soooo I'm sticking with what I've got, an F800GS with 90,000+ on her, and going for the 100,000 this year, and my likkle 'fun bike' the G650Xcountry
Enjoy your new WC ... I hope you get loadsa miles'n smiles in together
