BT Digital vault

Hi folks any body using the bt digital vault , just trying to check upload speed,in 12 hours I have only loaded up 370 files of 3856 so at this rate i will be p155ed off , this is from a laptop so i dont know if i should leave the thing on , cant be wright can it ?
How long should it take, its about 50% of my alocated space.
notebook speed is 54mbps .Is this good ?

We don't know how big your files are, so the number that you have uploaded doesn't help as much as knowing how much data has been uploaded.

ADSL upload speeds are a lot slower than download speeds as well - if you go to some of the speed test sites, they will tell you what speed you should expect when sending data upwards along your connection. Once you know what sort of upload speed that you should be expecting, check how much you have uploaded so far - if there's a big discrepancy, it may be the digital vault.

Your broadband speed will probably be between 2-8 Mbits/s to download, It's unlikely to be 54Mbits/s as that sounds like a wireless speed to me. However, your upload speed is more likely to be around 512kbits/s-1MBit/s. At 1Mbit/s, you would be able to upload about 8 MBytes per minute at full tilt, but accounting for some other happenings that make it all happen, 6 MBytes per minute is probably more realistic.
