Buggered old geezer does France...

So a day of adventure and excitement..
22 degs, so had to clear ice off screen....after sumptious breakfast, set off to and Grottes des Carbonniere, where we spent an hour exploring caves....no photys...a caves a cave...then Martel, where we came upon another petit train....this one a train a vapeur....a steam train!

On to our next adventure, La Roque-Gageac, on the Dordogne River.20230712_172932.jpg

For a boat trip...

The village of La Roque Gageac is apparently the third most village in France, after Mon St Michel and Rocamadour, certainly very pretty...and busy.
The recent scars in the top left cliffs are where a landslide in 1957 fell off and destroyed 12 houses, and killed 4 folk.....

And a drive thogh the pretty lanes along the Dordogne valley to supper in Rocamadour. A pizza...no photys as someone will take the piss...worth noting that most restos close at 9....

Oh the life!
Pissing rain and 10ºC here!
Never mind, off to Portugal next week on the Multistrada (via France and Spain) then over to Sid's place and then the Austrian MotoGP then home.
You have a great time there.
Just enjoy yourself Iain.....and stay away from normal folk :D
