I have that cam, superb piece of kit. Great quality video, battery life approx 4hrs, easy to mount and use especially with the remote controller. Sound quality on the bike is shite have an external mic now but not tried it out yet.

I've got the dogcam one, and it has had firmware upgrades over the past year. Might work on the one you have.

Well, my mini-dvr turned up today (same as the Dogcam one).

I just have to figure out where to mount it so I can try it out. Ideally I'd like to mount it somewhere not too obvious so I can leave it there permanently and route the cable to the recorder under the seat..

Where did you guys mount yours? Description would be good but pictures would be even better
