BUMOT panniers

They are meaning the front edge directly behind your feet.
If straight or small champfer if your leg is kicked up when riding it can beak your leg.
Part of the reason why some prefer soft luggage for rough trips.

I see, i think i'll be OK then, my legs won't reach the panniers if they are kicked up ;) and these should stay on through Keilder too!!:thumb2

Am i missing something, lower edges (ie: the bottom) is angled on all four sides. ;)

There's angled and there's angled. On the old 1150GS

Thanks.
Just received mine today and was wondering where all the bits went.

:D

If the exhaust can was no more than 4" wide (it could be taller) and set parallel to the wheel there would be space for two full size GSA side cases.

Those panniers look superb. Have seen them at the Adventure Bike Shop and really impressed with the quality and finish.

Will go for those as and when my std panniers need to be replaced. Although am looking at changing to the Bumot top Box sooner as it is a touch bigger than the std BMW ally box, meaning it is easier to get a lid in with intercom etc still in place.

Are you going to get a top box or just stick with the panniers?

He is still having counselling over the loss of his stickers from his original panniers :comfort to lose his top box as well at the moment could well tip him over the edge

I shall probably get a top-box too, but couldn't decide on small or large.
