Bumot Top Box - help!

Just fitted a Bumot top box which went on no trouble but I can't now demount the box from the rack.

Is it me or has anyone else had a similar experience, or is there a technique to it that has so far evaded me?

Might help if you say what Bumot top box, as there are different fittings for different boxes.

Yes - had the same problem.
Solution was shown to me by Bill at Ocean - a sharp bang on the lower part of the top box with his hand. That free'd it up nicely.
But I couldn't achieve the same result - so I used a rubber mallet on the locking mechanism and catch at the bottom of the top box.
That worked with no no risk of damage to anything.
