Law has changed lately you are now Allowd to use reasonable force to protect yourself and property and family. I fancy his chances spechly since there was 3 of them. Every case is different so let's see what happens. I'm on his side fair play to him. I was burgled about 3 years ago and I got over it do did my wife but the kids were badly affected. The Insurence pays out and then you pay them back in no clames. JJH

looks like another gerry has got my title now
.gerry kennedy is a nice popular guy
,a bit highly strung but that comes from the presure of having a large company making kitchens and built in furniture
,his property is in the middle of no where and i live 5 miles away from him and would still get it hard to find him.thats where the local traveller comes in.
a decent hard working guy who is under presure because of the recession and who stopped members of an etchnic minority from putting him out of bussiness. the whole area,county and i would chance to say country are behind him.
it had to be a scary ordeal for him and his family but if a few more get shot the rest might think before any more robberys occur

sadly they dont have the intelligence to think like that
I'd have my own ideas on who should be highly strung (in a literal rather than a metaphorical way) & it would not be Gerry. I'm with his actions on this - the bleeding heart liberal in me is not making an issue this time.
