I'm looking for a unit that can be mounted on my GS without having to remove the existing cradle, which I'd prefer to keep. This one seems like a good option.

Anything BMW and tech avoid like the plaque, there are a number of proven options out there over the last two years or so, look at the Carpuride. 702BS fits into Nav Prep and gives wonderwheel options, sensible price also

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m currently looking for a 6-inch unit though, as the 7-inch one feels a bit too big for my setup.

If you google the customer support number it comes up with Aoocci customer support as the same number - USA country code

Same items for BMW, same pricing

Aoocci call them the BM6 & BM7

https://aoocci.com/products/bmw-mot...auto-navigation-system?variant=43073717567576

Placing one in the cart at both sites gave the same price with discount code
Aooccii states it doesn't ship to UK but the CPMC site does and was free for regular postage or £22.45 for expidited delivery

Not sure if you can search on here to see the Aoocci threads

Yes, it seems like the same product.

The thing about the Chigee is that in order to make it work with the wonder wheel, you have to buy a Bluetooth adapter that connects under the seat to the can connector and use Bluetooth. This device seems to connect directly.

Not with the AIO 6, you don't. The BMW QR module has it built in.

Saw TMF promoting it, with discount. Was contemplating one of these things anyway. Still undecided about brand.
Anyway with the TMF discount it was $220. So I ordered one. 10 days later it arrived.
It's still in the box.
I will let you know what I think of it eventually.

It's on the bike. Instruction book, Pretty much useless. Google CPMC. result Gynecology in California.
A few minutes head scratching getting cover of BMW cradle.
Plugged in quite easy.
Yesterday on my way for coffee, It lit up, showed main screen good enough for now.
Today read the instructions.
Turned bluetooth on phone. Came up with some weird no. Tried finger on screen, Bluetooth Id. same as weird no.
All good.
Connected to phone no bother turned on map. It worked. So far haven't put any routes in.
Showed the traffic jam ect. Just like one fitted in car. Unlike my car not required to plug phone in. Phone in pocket not sure how it will affect charge yet.
So far so good. on way to get Coffee.
Went for a ride after. Map frozen at coffee stop. I guess you have to do something for every ride. PIA.
Stopped to look at sunset. Pressed something on screen. Map working again.
Figuring it out slowly. Works better than the black plastic cover anyway.
Do you find these a bit distracting? Just not used to having a screen there I guess.

got my CPMC today mmm not so sure it was a good idea . def doesnt feel robust and has screws (small phillipshead) not sure how itll withstand drenchings . maps dont look too hot either . think ill remove the nav prep and fit Zumo XT .

I still recommend the Carpuride 702 BS no need to remove Nav Prep fits straight in does everything you want and more, robust had mine for Year no issues and far cheaper than anything BMW

I’ve used the Carpuride 7” for well over a year now and can’t fault it.
Thinking of upgrading to the whizz wheel integrated version but while my original is fine can’t find a good reason to part with the cash.
I think the original version which fits straight into the BMW cradle is under £150, bargain!

I’ve been lucky enough to get a CPMC for my Birthday, its the B6 version which is just the right screen size (IMO) for the GS, I’ve been away so it’s taken a few weeks to get it fitted (I know) and give it a run out.

Mine looks and feels good quality and has worked out of the box once I’ve paired my phone, the wonder wheel works as promised and it hasn’t missed a beat as yet.

I’ve removed an XT to fit the CPMC as i can use Apple Maps, Waze and My Route App so I think it covers all bases for me & for £168 delivered it feels like a bargain.

It’s also got it’s own GPS receiver so hopefully it’ll be easier on the phone battery

I did look at a Chiggee and that looks really good quality and thought I’d have one of those, but I’ve had an Aoocchi C3 on my scoot for about a year and it’s been faultless so I thought for a third of the price of the Chiggee it had to be worth a go - I think it was although time will tell.
