BWM Motorcycle CarPlay Screen

I’m interested in one of those. I like Calimoto so it may be the way to go.
I’ve a C3 on my Himalayan and it’s been very good.

Long shot but does anyone have a pic of one of these fitted (6”) in the analog clock GS? I had the 7” Carpuride but it irritated me being a little to large, blocking the clocks slightly

I also think 7'' is too big.

You can consider 6''.

I don’t have the analogue clock GS but I think the 6” is the sweet spot for the tft screen version as it’s only slightly bigger than the Nav 6 although the screen is bigger so I imagine it would be similar on yours too.

I’ve been lucky enough to get a CPMC for my Birthday, its the B6 version which is just the right screen size (IMO) for the GS, I’ve been away so it’s taken a few weeks to get it fitted (I know) and give it a run out.

Mine looks and feels good quality and has worked out of the box once I’ve paired my phone, the wonder wheel works as promised and it hasn’t missed a beat as yet.

I’ve removed an XT to fit the CPMC as i can use Apple Maps, Waze and My Route App so I think it covers all bases for me & for £168 delivered it feels like a bargain.

It’s also got it’s own GPS receiver so hopefully it’ll be easier on the phone battery

I did look at a Chiggee and that looks really good quality and thought I’d have one of those, but I’ve had an Aoocchi C3 on my scoot for about a year and it’s been faultless so I thought for a third of the price of the Chiggee it had to be worth a go - I think it was although time will tell.
So as a bit of an update.

After almost a year and being swapped between the scoot and the gs (I’ve got a nav 6 mount on both) so far it’s been faultless.

My only criticism is even on its dimmest setting it’s brighter than I would like on a dark night out in the middle of nowhere, this has only happened once and it was manageable but apart from that very small criticism it’s been faultless and worked without any faff every time, a big step up from the C3 which I thought was great for the money…

I'm blind as a bat close up in my old age, so bigger is better. I was struggling to see small details on my ZumoXT last week and everyone else i ride with has gone over from Garmin/BMW Nav to a Carplay unit of some form or another. I've just ordered a Ridernav R7M unit which arrives today, £214 with a discount code.

I don't think there is much difference now with most of these units but I wanted a bright screen (1200Nits), BMW Nav Prep and wonder wheel compatibility.
