Well Bertha is all strapped up and ready to go. finding it hard to get me leg over I,ve opted for a shorter legged girl. Flip is going to look after Bertha and I'm having Jabba's R100RT. It had to be another airhead cos I want to attend the Weekend again:D
Twill be quite sad to see her go, we've had some good rides together but I'm sure Flip will take good care of her:augie

lovely bike... must be a sad day to see it go.. at least it's going to a good home.

Meant to ask you at the wee-kend.. but whats the fairing/lights off? Was thinking it looked good and something similar would suit my bitza.

Is your new bike the gold/bown RT that was for sale at the wee-kend? That was a nice looking bike!

Nope, he didn't buy that one...................... he wisely chose a mono, apparently they handle better. :D
( more so if fitted with BT45's:thumb thank you again)
I believe there were 3 100RT's there, mine, Geriatrics (the gold/brown one) and the other was the one he bought.

James,
I think that fairing might be what's called the "Desierto" - available from TTech . Would look good on yours.
There might be other places you could buy it, maybe from Europe .

Thanks for the comments, not everyone likes it but the lights are good and the wind protection is pretty good too.
Its a Red Fox, from simpson-detour.based in Chichester. try them at simpson-detour.co.uk

I can't help but feel a little guilty taking on bertha, but I want another Airhead and this one has a lot of memories of good times with my dad. I couldn't bear to see her go to a home outside the family, so she's gonna join our stable and be loved and cherished forever more :thumb

She'll always be here if you wanna take her out pops, I am mearly a custodian, she'll always be yours ;)

She's in Chez Flipfly with a nice warm blanket :thumb

Just spent a great afternoon with my dad going to collect his new steed.

Sometimes the simple days really are the best :thumb2
