Popped in there yesterday morning on the way to an appointment in Weymouth to discuss my gear selection issues (see technical).

Took the offending parts with me, they refused to sell me anything, simply saying a clean-up of the bush and regrease would fix it. ( as other advise on here).

Very impressed with the friendliness of the place, despite the fact its over 100 miles (nice ride, horrible drive) away think my next bike might come from there.

Some Rallye 2 (and or Savanna 2) clothing on sale there too, unfortunately none to fit me.

They are very good - I took mine in for a brake check and was told that I had a very slightly warped disc but they would change it all under warranty - a few days later I had new discs and brake pads. Had a problem with the visor on a new system V - again, it was swapped for a new one without any issues.

Best dealer around. I travel from Coventry both for buying and servicing.

I travel the 60 miles to Dorchester, instead of the 30 to SPC for accessories. There's nothing wrong with SPC, I prefer the guys at CW for certain things.
There's no way I'd consider the 40 miles to Coopers in Reading.

I am off there again tomorrow, need to collect a fuel filter and good excuse for a ride through some beautiful countryside.

I Luv CW...

....well I do.

They fixed my SHB on my Dakar under the warranty, despite it being a Rydale's bike, and then, unprompted, also put in a sucessful warranty claim for my front forks too.

And now they are providing me with 110% effort helping me with my 'problem' with my FS bike - see http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48875

Most definitely the place that my next bike is coming from - they already have my deposit!

Me too
There's a nice new shiney GS waiting for me :coold

I have nothing but praise for them.
Darren (service manager) couldn't have been more helpful when I had my ABS problem. I even mentioned that my idle was a little too fast and they looked into it whilst replacing the servo unit and found the problem which they then resolved making sure all was done under warrenty.
No extra charge either for removing engine bars during the 12,000 service.
Top blokes.

I agree with all the sentiments expressed thuis far. I now go there instead of using SPC and have had no problems whilst they have done warranty work without any snags at all.

If more dealers were like them then more people would be on bikes, its as simple as that.

i don't do dealers.

cw did me an estimate at very short notice after some silly bint knocked my 1150 over. couldn't have been more helpful.

might do dealers (cw) in future :)

Bought my first GS from CW in 2001. Travelled from Glasgow because I couldn't get one closer, although the guys knew they would never see the bike again for servicing they discounted all the accessories I put on the bike. Good feeling you get when you aren't being taken for every penny. Would definently use CW if I stayed closer!

I phoned SPC to see if I could get the back armour for a second hand Seattle jacket, I was told " It's three or four years since that was dropped from the range, can't get it".

CW ordered it for me. Nuf said.

:thumb Well Said Eliminator. You make the point beautifully. This is precisely the sort of reason why SPC no longer get my business.

It's called customer service guys... Not rocket science really...

Easily the best BMW dealership in southern England.

Top people selling and servicing/maintaining one of the best bike marques in the market today.

Worth the trip.

ps: and in Dorchester they do great fish and chips, homemade Dorset cakes and brilliant scenery (as well as a museums etc). Going there is a good day out. The Dorchester market is worth a visit too.

Just had a 12,000 mile service done by CW on my 1150 today. CWs really are an example to other bike dealers on how things should be done.

All the staff are genuine motorcycle enthusiasts and no matter how busy they are, always find the time to help you out.

Top bunch of lads.

Walter at CW

Yep, agreed, just had a long chat with Walter at CW who spends the time explaining stuff, no matter how daft the question. Taking my GS down there for the 12000 service even though I live in London. Battersea are fine but long wait. Same with Prestige although they too have a good rep.

It's Wally actually :)
A good choice :thumb
