Hi folks,

I need help with the above please.

When i was trying to install it the first time, i just couldn't see where i was meant to put the earpieces - its my first autocom system. Then i called Autocom themselves and they pointed me to the website which has pictures etc of the fitting to my exact helmet. But it say use the cuttaways under the lining. So trusting what autocom says i carried on, thought id finished and plonked it on my head and realsied that the earpieces are miles away from my ears! i.e. half way up my head! This obviously mean that the sound was virtually zero with the ipod and just audible from the phone.

I have eventually placed them with velcro just where my ears are and the volume is fine now, but they move a little everytime i plonk the helmet on and the helmet is now a touch uncomfortable?????

Any Caberg Justissimo helmet users or otheriwse with same problem offer any help here please as it would be much appreciated?:)

BTW, i dont have an odd shaped head!:D:blast

Dust your ears with talcum powder, ease your helmet on, then equally gently and holding the lower edges of the helmet apart remove same. Hopefully you will now have an outline of where your ears are in relation the the helmet lining

To make things a bit more comfortable you now want to "thin" the cheekpads in the above area. This can be done by putting several stitches of button thread through the foam and the stiff backing to compress the material

The tips of your ears will probably be pressed by the adjacent styrafoam so compress that area using a round blunt instrument and quite a lot of grunt

Sadly the fastening rivets for the strap are also in this area so you may have to do more of the above than first seems necessary

Unless you really do want sound in both ears you might consider trying the system with one speaker temporarily tucked out of the way - if it's OK chop off speaker you don't need which will save you having to modify the other side of the helmet

Works for me just fine
