I don't know Joe. I jumped to the conclusion that you fellas would go to Andover so I agreed to go to Le Touquet on Thursday.

Firstly, I am NOT a public servant; I am a crown servant. 'Public servant' is a phrase made up by the press, borrowing heavily on the cover-all title bandied around in the USA. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland pays my wages (although I believe she may have delegated the actual administration to some politicians, which she kindly allows you lot to vote in).
Secondly, unlike you pampered and precious city types, I don't get paid for my lunch hours, so if I take a long break it is no skin off your nose. I will make the time up later, I promise.
And thirdly, I'll leave my mobile on so in the unlikely event of there being a border-related emergency that my 8,000-odd UKBA colleagues can't manager, they can phone me and ask for my opinion. I will keep a coin handy for any close call situations.
Which day? Any working day between Christmas and New Year, so Wednesday to Friday inclusive.

Are you talking Spitfire memorial at Folkestone (Capel Le Ferne) or Spitfire museum at Manston airport?

what ever happens im out down that way going to be leaving here around 1030am ish bimble down to the spitfire memorial then find a coffee and take it from there

Don't worry Wappers, Jim and I will be doing our best to meet up with Chad on Wednesday and what's more we are bimbling down to Le Touquet on Thursday if the weathers good.
