Caliper pins

Just got some stainless caliper pins from Motorworks (excellent service as always) but they don't come with the little spring retainer at the end. Is there a method or knack for getting these off? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Well that how I got my off

Big fuckoff screwdriver and turn it like you are undoing a screw rather than pry one side and it should come off once the opening is wide enough.
Try underwater, in a container or plastic bag in case it pings off somewhere.
