Calling Norton Commando owners

Anybody familiar with the SU carb conversion or can shed some light on this carb conversion.

Clearing a pile of stuff out at a friends place and came across an SU carb sitting on a manifold that looks like it's meant to fit a Norton Commando.

Any help would be appreciated.

118mm (4 5/8") across the mounting holes in pic 2. The inlet ports are each 32mm.

It looks like it could be for a Commando. I remember when the conversion was first done back in the late 70's. I had an 850 Mk3 at the time. However, it could also be for a Triumph. ISTR there was a conversions for T140V around the same time.

Do you know what Good money is Proff?

I know the Mikuni conversions around £200 so this should be less than that.

Been and offered it up against my mates Commando. It is a conversion for a Commando

Just need to buy a Commando to go with it now
