No longer a paid up member so no PMs

I have one screen sitting in the shed, after that they're all gone. Paypal £20 to iain ross 2001 at yahoo dot co dot uk and I'll stick it in the post to you.

Cheers

Iain

No problem. payment received.

Providing my other half remembers, it will be posted this morning. Before you stick the velcro, it is important to clean the bike with carb / brake cleaner. Flex the bottom of the screen out slightly as you attach it to get the best fit.

Don't forget to drill the oem cowl, fix it with no plate screws if you want the ' super secure' upgrade :-)

Will do:thumb, thats why i lost my first one:blast

Affix screen via the sticky pads to the cowl

Take the whole lot off the bike

Drill 3 holes, through the centre (one through each pad) of each pad, suitable for black no plate bolts

Fit the bolts & re-attach the cowl to bike

Drilling through pads allows some flex & stops the cowl getting prone to splitting out from any holes drilled

You could even try adding some petrol pipe or similar tubing as a spacer on the top screws between the bike and the screen. Not tried this but it may allow you to adjust the angle of the screen.

Currently my screen is mounted with velcro between the bike and lightweight stainless brackets which are then riveted to the screen. Mounting the screen more upright further improves the wind protection - at the expense of forward view of the ground directly in front of the bike.
