I've just found out that Calterdons the local BMW dealers is being sold to Arnold Clarks, but will still sell and service bikes. If the existing Lithuanian mechanic leaves, they'll lose a lot of business as he is very good.

Sounds good, hope they have some more decent engineers to work on the bikes, the fella thats there the now seems decent.
He is very good, I trust him to do what he is supposed to, unlike some other dealers. i've asked him about 2 possible faults/problems with my bike, he's investigated and either fixed or explained what was wrong (me :-( lol).
Good to know Busy Builder, hope he stays with them...

I was going to use them for my next service but wasnt sure how good they were.
I think i am going to get mine into them for the 12K in a month or so..

Hi bud. my bike isnt due a service yet its only done 2700 miles. First service (600 Miles)was done at the Keith garage hes a bmw indi guy
Keith garage can you tell me details that might be an even better option, as far as i know your warrenty is valid as long as BMW parts are used so might give him a try. Since you got your first service there then cant see any harm in it, was the guy decent enough like??

I had my F800's 12k service done at Keith Garage as the bike was over 3 years old. I also had the Chain/Sprockets replaced at the same time. Everything was fine, BMW recommended parts and pleasantly surprised by the price. I will be taking my bike back their for any further work without a second thought.
Had the bike in at Keith Garage and they did a wonderful job.
Kept the bike for a week on my request which was great, gave me all the details of what was done Engine Oil and filter, air filter brake fluids incl changing the sponge, diff oil, gear oil, plugs and clearences and throttle body setup. Bike is running so much smoother really great service from them. Full once over to make sure everything was ok, found that my rear brake pads were to the bone, so changed out.
If you want a proper service then give them a shout.
