Good Morning all,
I have been introduced to the Calum's Road event by a certain Gent (should remain nameless ?)....
can I ask are you full or open to another.... I would be a maybe at the moment as full negotiations with SWMBO have only just commenced.
Also I need the support from corporate centre, who might just allow the 4 weeks, and might just offer some charity dosh from the matched giving process!!
So can you let me know if you are open to another (R1150GS ADV).
Thanks
Always room for another I'd say so go do the corporate thing and see how it goes![]()
... the significant charitable impact of the event with reference to the limited effect of Bikes and the environment....

Good luck, always good to have more along to raise funds for the road
Don't know if I'd classify 20 odd tossers on a road trip as limited impact on the environment though...![]()

If you go to the Gambia horse and donkey site via anyones Just giving page you will see some new pictures of Kuntaur (or try here) http://www.gambiahorseanddonkey.org.uk/Pages/chariot2.htm taken by the guys now traveling in the opposite direction in a camper van,I have looked and looked but cant see any fast food outlets.
Will these guys be invited to the Skye soirée in August ? Assuming they are back.

Hi,
I will pass on my E Mail..... will be good to have a chat.
BUT
Negotiations have fallen at the first hurdle....however with a positive outcome!
Mrs Where's Ware, has changed tune alittle and would like to join me.....
And thats where the trouble starts.....working in education she can not take the timeout!
The conversation was very positive though as she has indicated that she would like very much to be included in such a trip, however, feels the two of us should wait until the ankle biters, (actually neck biters, both quite tall now) are at university.
Oh well, only 5.5 years to wait...(eldest 16, youngest 13).
PLEASE make this an annual event!![]()

Return date
Do you really think we are that organised![]()
Truth be told, there's a few things we need to bottom out and that's one of them............
However, we are defo. leaving Raasay on Jan 8th 2010 and I think the general concensous is it'll take 3 to 4 weeks to get there.
Speaking for myself I am allowing 5 weeks for the whole thing, including a few days before to get 'sorted' and a few days after to 'recover' before going back to the ninetolife.
Andres
could be tempted if I could get back by 11 Feb at the latest
