Just changed the above and what a differance it makes

Thought i'd pass on a couple of tips to anyone thinking of doing the same

If like me you can't gain access to the spring (piston was stuck inside the barrel) get a paper clip and insert into small hole at top of the barrel and give it a good shake,rattle and roll this should free the barrel giving access to the spring

If you get the adjuster from Motorworks then you will need a 15mm spanner to install and a 17mm to remove the old one

Sorry to contact you this way, I can't PM you for some reason. Your Garmin 2610, what MapSource Version of Europe have you got? Roughly how much travelling have you done with the unit?
