cam cover cap leak

are the O rings required for these some sort of unobtanium deal, I have a leak from one side that reappears within about a 1000km every time I replace the O ring, is the O ring a "special Part"? I'm just using a nitrile O ring that appears the right size, and I have tried several different sizes, but they all end up leaking, giving me the shits, how hard can it be???

Might be worth trying the correct parts - they're cheap from third parties or dealers:

Yep, replaced mine with the original part (pennies) and it has been fine for a couple of years.
