That Flickr link is a good one.

Some of you may know that I'm a fulltime professional sports photographer and I am astonished at some of the pictures that pro-ams offer up from these events and then charge money for. (obviously I'm not refering to family/friends shots etc but the whole web based event selling teams that have a great IT sales system but offer blurry photos taken with non pro gear)

Anyway, the photos on Flickr above look a bit better than average. Timolgra is there on page 18 looking good and there are others.

Flickr is a photo sharing website and I would imagine if the photographer wanted to protect his copyright, he would watermark his images and only upload small file thumbnails.

I shall say no more except perhaps a quick email to the photographer asking to use the photos for personal use if you download them might be in order

on the Flikr site, you can download the fotos as they were uploaded unless there is a copyright on them. He has put his watermark on them so he has made his stake. As long as you dont make money off them or remove the watermark you should be fine to use them. I might be wrong of course....
