Well I had just had to suffer the unthinkable, looking over my shoulder to see that you had caught me up during a stage! :augie

Another great event! Flattening the front tyre on a rock 30 seconds into the last test simply adds character.

Many thanks to WTRA, we really appreciate the work you put in. :thumb

And thanks to Nathan and Phil, really enjoyed riding with you again.
Nathan, I owe you a tube, and 9 seconds.
Mark

Sounds like a good event and some nice pix. Shame I couldn't make it.

Just been looking at the results, and good to see riders on G650X bikes doing so well; v well placed.

Am v confused though, as all except one of the G650X's were entered in the Trail category. The odd one was entered in the Sports category amongst the 450's.

Why's that then??

Take the brake lever off !!
Slow down !!
reinforce brake lever :thumb2 extra brace along bottom of brake lever act as reinforement and skid plate for lever.

Glad Joe is OK. you never know some girls might like a stumpy finger  hope his injury doesn't stop him getting his hand in his pocket Saturday night.

Cause the guy entered in the wrong category.

There is only one problem with bracing the rear brake lever, and that's the frame ear that hold the peg and rear brake lever:(. HPN reinforce that area on thier race preped bikes. Look at mine and just above the peg you can see 2 rust lines where I caught the Brake lever and the peg Both had to be repleced, and I had to re-align the ear to refit the B lever.:blast
Good luck at the Hafron

Cain and Michele see you soon

The guy with the x challenge was in the sports cat because he didn't want to run with indicators and pillion footpegs (in case of breakage). When contacted, wtra officially said in an email that it would have to go as a sport, not trial as it says in the regs. If you read them. It was lovely fun and quite frankly my dear, I didn't give a damn which group I was put in! its all gone quiet over there! mr brian

Sorry I didn't get to talk bam bam, pleasure to see you though

Do HP2's have pillion footpegs ?

Excellent event. Glad to hear Joe is OK and looking forward to the Hafren.

Moly I'm chasing you now as the mods on the 640 seem to have improved handling tremendously ;-) - although it defo needs more power.

On the trail bike debate - Bri did you ever run indicators or pillion pegs when you were in the Trail class?
Also I noticed that Boundsey didn't have a rear light! Maybe I should put a protest in ;-)
