I was going to, but thought I was a bit new , Nice work :thumb I will wade in next time

Wunderlich do a very neat, practical, and reasonably priced one....I've had one on two GSA's and wouldn't buy anything else.

Return it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got one of Mark's stand plates. It didn't cause any problems with angles etc when in use, but it fouled on the exhaust heat-shield when the stand was retracted. I tried repositioning it, and the exhaust, but couldn't fix it completely so took it off again.

No response to my emails seeking advice and/or refund so it remains in my shed :-(

Mate, thats the first I have heard of it - send it back and I`ll either refund ya or, if you mark on it where it is catching, i`ll make you a `bepoke` one to fit your bike.

I`m not the one to be labelled like the rest of the "stack `em high sell `em cheap awful service high prices takes forever to arrive" traders - I make all my stuff personally and they are all my babies :bounce1 so PLEASE send it back and I`ll sort it one way or another :comfort

I have no idea why I never got your mails..................

As mentioned in my email (I too have no idea why you didn't get it - it's marked as "sent" in my outbox and I have no "bounce" notifications relating to it) the problem is the head of the coach-bolt closest to the exhaust fouling on the heat shield. If I remove that bolt altogether, the footplate itself *just* touches the shield. It means that there is a loud CLANG every time I flip the stand to its folded position.

I'll sort out getting it posted back to you with a covering note.

Please be assured, as far as I am concerned, you are indeed one of the "good guys" out there. :thumb2

On my standard GS i used one of these off ebay. Cheaper and better IMHO.

Hope this helps

Mike

I've fitted the same "foot" as Mike R - it's bigger but not so much so that it fouls the exhaust etc. The bolts are pressed-in so the underside is smooth - I'm certainly aware of it when raising/lowering so not sure I'd want anything bigger!

I do like the look of Mark's version though .........

Stu.
