OK maybe folk didn't see my question 1st time round.
How does the indicator mount back on the camera bracket? There is a tab on the indicator that goes into a slot in the mounting hole then the indicator is rotated 90 degrees.
There's no slot in the front hole on the bracket to correspond with this.

That looks excellent and very impressed that it links with the Nav 6.
I use Drift so my question is, the mount that is bolted to the plate to affix your camera i assume will come off leaving just the plain flat arm attached to the bike
If this is the case, can you let me know what size screw/bolt will fit through the base plate please
If you could put a picture up of just the base plate, i would be grateful.
I use a Drift and have one of these to convert the Drift to Gopro mounts.

Hi all. I have one of these mounts that I don't need any more if anyone is interested. Went on the bike and came off following day after I decided to put the camera somewhere else. PM and make me a sensible offer and it's yours.

There's a similar cutout on the back of the bracket that the indicator rotates into.

you don't need to twist it in the hole in the mount is big enough
Time to order one I think. Not happy with the Ram mount attached to the GPS bar, too much vibration.

It looks to me that the piece that slots over the indicator stalk has enough clearance to go over the tab, regardless of orientation, in which case the indicator will be located and held in place solely by the bolt. What I don't understand is why it is fitted on the right. As you get off the left side of the bike, it would be more convenient to have the camera on the left. Having said that, there seems to be nothing stopping it from being flipped over and mounted on the left.

I'd prefer left side, points more into traffic when abroad which is where I use it most on trips
I like the look of your set up, I have a NAV V1 and the VIRB Ultra and cannot get them to connect,
Garmin support was not very helpful

Unfortunately the VIRB® Ultra 30 is not compatible with the BMW Navigator VI. Therefor it won't be able to run the available functions.

Because if it's on the left you don't have to walk around to the other side of the bike to take it off when you park up somewhere, and it could be a bit of a stretch to do it from the saddle.
Yes I tried all the standard ways to connect and every now and again it says searching for camera then the number but will not connect ?
I ordered one of these after original post, arrived today and now fitted. Really well designed and constructed. Thanks for the heads up. Best mounting for go pro I have seen and at that price too.
