The wife and I are off round the alps later this year and I would really like to take some video footage of the trip. I'm after a video/dvd recorder that I can shove in the tank bag with a remote camera that I can stick on the "beak". That way I can use it on the bike and take it with me when we are on foot. Does any of you know of such a device?
I'll need names and models and where I would get one as I'm a complete nobber with 'owt technical.
Many thanks.

Don't use a DVD recorder, it will have trouble writing to the disk due to the movement of the bike, if you get a camcorder it must have an analogue input.

Bullet cameras from a number of sources:

Action Cameras have a compatability list for camcorders on their site, they also sell hard disk recorders that can be hooked up to bullet cameras, I personally don't like hard disk recorders, they generate a lot of heat and you can screw the disks up.
