Ok,

looking getting back into wild camping and looks like cant light a fire anymore?

Not sure was ever legal but now looks like being realy well enforced on forests etc and pop wild camping spots

why have a campfire ? it gives away your position .

1st rule of wild camping should be ,
leave no mark, that you were there ...... not even flat grass.

very true and i always kept place spotless just amazing how changed from when used go with my dad

Why cant you ,stay out of line of sight its not as if the countryside is crawling with anyone who can tell
you not to camp or light safe fires, and just leave it as you find it. They are taking away enough of our rights go out and enjoy yourself.

Some folks even sh*t in a bag when they're camping these days....................Like they're in the SAS or something!

Wild camping............Arrive late and leave early and no-one will even know you've even been!:thumb

Fires? Don't like em unless they're in a 'safe' area!

Someone set fire to my neighbours farm when they were 'camping' next to his barley field...............Now't wrong with using a camping stove though!

FP.

More curious see your points view.

I like in woods so know risks as my own house is in line fire if someone messes up

Just curious as to when all this started
