Hi all
The better half and i have booked the ferry for the island in september and would like to camp.
Having looked at lots of different camp sites we would like one recomending to us by people who have been before.
Although we a fairly young well 28 any way we like the quieter resorts ie less kids if possible, so if any one has any recomendations would you please let us know.
Many thanks for your time all the best Adam and Nicola

Hi, try Whitecliff Bay, it has a camping field away from the main area so you can have peace and quiet with a lovely view of the airfield or you can go across the road and use all the pools, bars etc. Best check its all open though at that time of year. I had my caravan there for the whole year and loved it.
Another place i can reccomend is Adgestone Camping between Sandown and Shanklin. A well laid out site but no bar.

Plenty of places are very nice, you should be able to find something easily.

If you want a quiet site with nice clean toilets and showers, then Kite Hill Farm at Wootten is the place to stay. It's literally two or three minutes drive/ride from the Ferry port, and there is a pub and shops 5 minutes walk away which includes a launderette (if you need one) and a chippy too:thumb.

Have fun.
