oh ooh, just rung them and they said they are full this weekend.told me to ring back thursday to see if they had any cancelations. j
Urgh, crap.
We could do with firm numbers of who is going. Any alternative camp sites in Keswick (that allow fires)?
Stretch, Lanefoot Farm is the site, they have a website and the prices are on there - Google is your friend. It wasn't exensive when we were there last.
And more importantly, how much, ya know I'm from the poorer side of the NW

dakarDude, judging by the forcast for this coming W/E in Keswick, I wouldn't worry tooooooooooo much about Fires, anywhere would do.
In terms of numbers I'll stand down and let anyone take my place and if necessary I'll turn up Sat. A.M. as I did last time, for the ride out.

Ok - Spoken to the Guy from Lanefoot - He has allowed us to go on (told him Circa 9 bikes 9 tents)
he said ok as long as we keep the noise down later on in the evening as the site will be quite full and a lot of families are booked on.
I took responsibility to make sure that we wouldn't be shouting or vomiting after 10:30pm
at least we are sorted

Just back from a multi week trip in Canada and strangely enough/unrelated, I'm camping at Lanefoot Farm this weekend, without the bike though... I'll keep an eye out for those few of you that I've met if you guys make it!

Spoke to Doc Savage tonight, he is definitely in.
So am I.
Weather Friday PM isn't meant to be great but picking up Sat/Sun
Still, who knows - could be a blinder like the last one - once that Saturday rain left us, it went tropical.Apparently, Doc was saying the camp site owner was a bit concerned over bikers coming along but seemed OK after Doc explained it was the same bunch that were there at that Bank Holiday - so we should be fine.
What is everyone doing Friday? Are we pitching then eating out, BBQ or some other plan or is everyone grabbing food at home etc. then riding to Keswick? If anyone wants to meet at the Tickled Trout I should be there for 18:45 at the latest.
One quick tip that I messed up on last time - bring a stool / chair to park your arse on!
