... Northumbrian coast and Kielder Forest region.

Lisa & I are venturing north for a week-and-a-half-ish next Monday and are aiming for the Alnwich area initially, then up towards Lindisfarne before turning west into the National Park. Quiet, rural, basic is preference but a spot of affordable luxury will not be sneered at :thumb.

TIA,

Just back from a crackin' fortnight exploring Northumbria :thumb2

Spring Hill Farm was indeed a crackin' site and we sampled all 3 accommodation options (tent, wigwam AND bunkhouse) after the wind did it's bit to our Exped Big Bear last Monday

Also stayed at Middle Wood Farm, Robin Hood Bay :)

Proctors Stead, Dunstan, nr.Craster :)

and Hadrians Wall nr Haltwhistle :)

When I get time, I'll post a proper review :thumb

We had a fantastic few days at Keldy Kabins with the BMW gang, if you feel like spoiling yourself and dont fancy camping (if its raining)

Our tent blew away last weekend in yorkshire.

We have rushed around this week trying to replace it

T'is funny now but not at the time early on a Sunday morning
