For wet roads fun, try a 1970s Suzuki or any Japanese bike with stainless discs.
It was the other way round on my '82 RS; a lag of a second or two with the original stainless steel discs, but no delay at all with the replacemnt cast discs. They also stopped far better as well, wet or dry.in the dry - yes.
in heavy rain, the cast iron discs on my Guzzi can have an almost 2 second delay as the water/rusty slime (?) clears off before actually working!

this is what I do, plus use a Xena disk lock with an alarmPut the disc lock just under the caliper so the bike can't move at all until it's removed.

I notice you're from Fife.
Fife is part of Scotland
Scotland is part of Great Britain (or the United Kingdom if you prefer)
In our country......
IT'S A BRAKE DISC - NOT A FUCKING ROTOR
THE SAME AS IT'S A MUDGUARD - NOT A F****ING FENDER.....!!!!
But I would like to take this opportunity to say that I do hope you manage to get "it" repaired to your satisfaction at reasonable cost![]()

now get off the sidewalk you douchbag !
Not sure these are the right disks bearing in mind this is in the airhead section?
