I know this is the wrong section, but I'll be damned if I can find the right place . Mods, please move at will, but advise where you move it to!

I've just re-floored my 'garage'. It's like a billiards table. Very happy. But now wanting to ride in, then roll the moto around into convenient places as needed.

And recommendations for dollies welcomed.

Many thanks

Hi
Can recommend the Wunderlich Easy Park - I have both the medium and heavy duty versions and can say that they make moving/turning a bike much easier especially if you have a smooth floor.

If you are looking to use it with a GS then the Medium one works fine (assuming they have not changed the spec since I got mine).

Only problem I had was with my Honda Pan as I needed to raise the bike via some plywood blocks to enable me to lift the bike onto its centre stand - have no problem with the GS though.

I’m very pleased with the lazy Susan I bought from this forum, not had any joy with dolly’s but my garage has not got a very smooth screed.

I've just made a lazy Susan turntable, cost less than £14 total, ride in, rotate 180 degrees and its ready to ride out. Not quite a dolly, but it might do? https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/p...-Susan-Turntable-Bearing/product_reviews.html
Just add wood onto the top or bottom and its ready to go. 1000lb weight limit.
Thanks jabba. I'm not sure a lazy Susan is going to do the job in this case. I need/want to move the bike around once it's on this dolly..

Thanks. Good feedback. I've seen these but completely clear how they work. I mean, my thinking is, ALL the wheels need to be locked before the bike is put into it?

Ideally I'd like to ride in - maybe directly onto the dolly - or I offer the dolly up to the bike after getting off...

Hi
The way I do it is to ride into the garage, put the bike on its side stand then position the dolly under the bike with the wheels of the dolly unlocked,
Raise the bike to the vertical and then bring the centre stand down onto the dolly making sure the stand sits roughly central on the dolly, then bring the bike up onto the stand.
Once on the stand the bike can be moved around.

To take the bike off you need to lock all 4 wheels, especially on a really level / smooth floor, I put the side stand down at the same time, you then push the bike forward to take the bike of the centre stand and let it down onto the side stand. I then pull the dolly out from under the bike - no need to unlock the wheels on a smooth floor.

Hope this helps.

I use a Constands for the GSA.
Works really well with a wide, low Platform and Twin, Rubber Bogie Casters at each Corner.
Wasn't cheap iirc but takes the weight and does the job.

I can't recommend one, but I can advise that the Sealy one is not man enough for a GS. I bought one, and it sags under the weight meaning that the castor pivots are no longer vertical, and the wheels are very loose on their axles so they flop over and jam. I got a full refund.

Hmmm. Thanks for the heads up on that. I did see them online and I did ponder... I'll stop

Seen these and they're actually high on my list, so this feedback is really useful Thanks

I've used one of these for over 5 years now on my LC GS's and it works well. The only thing I've found is for the LC where you position the centre stand on the dolly is important so you avoid snagging the wheels on the outrigger of the centre stand but I solved this with a bit of practice and a sharpie marker.

Have exactly the same issue with my Rothewald dolly from Louis. As mentioned here a bit of practice and you soon get the hang of it
Price was just over £50

Thanks for that. I did spot these in my search, though I couldn't actually find where to buy them therefore how much.

Anyway, I have gone for a ConStand that bumped into on eBay. The guy kindly offered to post it (it was up for collection only). So right now I'm sitting here with my fingers crossed hoping Hermes don't wreck it!!!
