1150 GSA 2005, servo brakes and ABS.

I like the latter, but not the former.

Can I dump the servo?

It can be done on the 12, I'd love to but I'm a mechanical numpty. I assume it'd be the same for the 1150.

What can be done on the 1200 ........ remove the servo but keep the ABS ?? :mmmm

I think you'll find that's another "Nope".

I reckon you could put an ABS system from an 1100 or early 1150 on a twin spark.

Now before you all say "it can't be done". It can, it'd just take a bit of time to figure out but I am 99% sure its possible to jury rig something. Whether you want a jury rigged ABS system is another question.

i suspect you'd need the matching early ECU as well. who knows what trouble that might cause?

Pah!

I reckon there is a market for a aftermarket ABS system that just takes in 12volts and wheel inputs and outputs brake fluid pulses.
