i like the old style coker /firestone tyres but looking to do the project its difficult to come up with something that has not been done ,i like the hidenau tyres and the balloon look my question is ,can you run a rear tyre on the front .for the fat tyre look .
obviuosly it will depend on if it fits ,cant think of any other issues at the moment ,but then i am not to bright :blast

If it's just for the look and it fits the rim and clears mudguard why not. Obviously not for the handeling. If the tyre is too wide for the rim while you will get it to fit it won't look right. Jjh

Quite a few streetfighters have done this. I also remember with older bikes and tyres, a pair of tyres were exactly the same, but when fitting the tyres, the front tyre was fitted the opposite way round to the rear IE the rotation was reversed.

I'd start at 50 as a target and see how it feels. Just get advice on the legality and mot issues. I'd go trough various tyre company's to see if they have anything in a front that would suit. Jjh

The old Dunlop K70 which is still availble can be fitted at either end
