Not sure this is the right place to post this thread, but couldn't find an insurance area. Just a quick question am I able to transfer my no claims bonus from my old car policy to a new motorbike policy?

Any advice/help would be fantastic. Cheers Guys:beerjug:

My guess is no. The insurance answer is likely to be that your abilities as a driver may differ between 2 and 4 wheels, you area may be a different risk of theft for bikes and cars etc. Basically, they'll have a get out clause.

I could not even use my NCB on two bikes when they were insured seperately. Same rider, same parking arrangements, yet somehow on one I could have 5 years NCB at the time, but move on to the other and I suddenly became a clueless learner.

However, you may find that you can combine the two on one policy. I think Bennetts and Hastings may do combined policies. May be the best solution, if it exists...:nenau

Good luck!

Try H and R insurance, I went back to bikes after a few years off and the take into consideration car NCD, not sure how much cheaper they will be though but it's worth a try.

I got some discount but had a broker handle it... I'm with norwich union if that's any good
