Can I use the word Forza here?

So the time is getting closer and test rides are booked. I’m only ever going to use this in the road , and consequently being drawn more towards the Forza than the X-ADV.

Those that have tried both - what did you choose and why?

Know it’s not really useful but….. Test rode both, nothing in it in my humble opinion. Good luck in your decision.

The X-ADV seems to be the fashionable choice.
The Forza would be the one I’d choose though.
It’s all down to personal choice innit. Both are superb bikes but the Forza, to me, would suit me more with the pannier set up for touring on.

I don’t care about image. I don’t need to be adored / centre of attention everywhere I go. Practicality is what really matters.
I’d much rather go around under the radar and un noticed.
The Forza seems to do the job for me. I’ll definitely be getting one in the near future especially if I can’t manhandle my lardy 1150 after having both my knees done.

I found the suspension better on the X-ADV. Plus having the rider peg option transforms the comfort .
Doubt the Forza has rider peg option as it’s not designed to venture on to trails.

The bikes are so similar.
Same engine/gears and electronics and storage.
The Adv-X has better travel on the suspension and handles potholes better, were the Forza suspension is stiffer.
Adv-X is better for taller riders.
Forza has better weather protection.

I tried both and chose the 350 Forza because of it's electric windscreen which has proved to be a real boon. It's up in the winter months and does a tremendous job of keeping the worst of the weather off, mainly down in the summer when it allows a lovely breeze and fluctuates between the 2 at other times of the year depending on the weather.
I've always been a function over form type and for my requirements the Forza was always the best choice. Having said that I think the Forza is a much nicer looking bike so it was a win/win for me.

I had no idea such a thing even existed.
I note that the 750 also has the electric screen and is also IMO a much nicer looking bike/scooter so I guess my observations are still as relevant now as they were when I was talking about the 350. How relevant they ever were I'll let others decide.

You've also created a new 'need' for me.

Edit. Looks like the Forza is cheaper too.

That’s the issue I had a few months ago when I went to look at them.
The dealer I went to told me I’d have to go to a different branch to look at one. They didn’t have a demonstrator available either.
I also see that the dealer is no longer a Honda dealer anymore. Good.

No idea, but I’m definitely in the market for one should my Himalayan ever go, a good friend has had several (125 and 350) variants which have taken him all over Europe from Finland to Spain and up mountain tracks in the alps. As always it’s the rider not the bike… a Dutch friend takes his K75 off road, he’s fitted knobblies as a concession… also has a full fairing

My 2 cents. I actually think the Forza 350 is an incredible machine. It’s a proper zingy cvt with loads of cargo space.
Very high spec versus competition
Test rides will fill all the blanks

On the Honda website I could find their Forza labelled vehicles under scooters. But not the X-Adv.

It was then plain that Honda give the X-Adv a class of its own, as a sort of motorcycle-cum-scooter. It’s a bit like JK Rowling writing books for children and the publisher persuading adults it’s a book for them, so increasing the pond of potential sales. It’s quite clever, really (but the Rowling books are still shite….. but I’m not 12).

Not sure where you’re looking but the X-Adv is lumped in to the ‘Adventure’ section on the Honda website
