can i weld onto clutch housing bolts ?

as it says above the bolts to the clutch are right ballsed up as i said before and i cannot get them out (allthough i have got 2 to move)i was just wondering can i weld a bolt or similar onto the old bolt and then undo it ,no electics are connected and i (remember i am not that bright) cant think of any heat transfer through the plate or similar .
will it work ,as anyone done this before i will try this before it goes to steptoe and i will let him deal with it and i will get on with something else

Cant you whack a tork or star driver in there? I haven't come across one that I haven't been able to undo using this method.

wasnt sure about whacing something in there without causing damage to something else ,ill give it a try tommorow

A center punch will move them.

sorted ,belted them in (something i dont usually like to do)and loosened them all ..............

I couldent get my botom bolts aut of my hp2 altinator belt cover so I ran the engine for a few minutes warm then they come aut using a torks so before I go belting stuff or rounding off heads use a littel heat
