What is this blanked off connection for? Found on GSA tucked away behind right hand side air intake and horn.

Yes I'm interested as well. Where's the switch. Will have to have a look around mine

The oem sat nav mount cable has an unused connector on. Can't remember if it is on the bike side or mount side of the harness.

Brilliant could be ideal for some additional running lights

Looks like the same plug for the Navigator data connector. There is one connector for power and one for the canbus signal from the bike

Ah I have Nav5 fitted so the spare lead probably won't be there then

Could be good news then. Not good with electrics. So I can't just wire the live and earth into this connector then.

I had a similar lose wire on my TB and it was the Nav cradle.

But I already have a Nav cradle fitted. Surely it would be connected up?

You would think so... my cradle was fitted but I didn't have a Nav to verify power. The sales guy said it was a spare wire because the GS and the RT use the same wiring and it was for the audio system and asked one of the mechanics to cable tie it so it wasn't dangling. Mechanic came out and said it was the power for the cradle, plugged it in and cable tied the slack. Either way it was resolved in the end.

Ok, I'll get it checked out when my Nav VI will arrive towards the end of the month.

RRP £675 but I got mine free with the bike. :D and I am certain it will not be reduced for quite some time. Last year was the year really to get a bike with 3.9% interest and all the package offers dealers had in place. 2017 is a totally different ball game.
