I need a favour. I'd like to know the distance between the centre of the swinging pivot and the centre of the bevel box pivots on an 1150 swinging arm.

Just measured the one I have lying in the garage and it appears to be 343 mm

I didn't explain very well.

It's the measurement between the two pivots 6 & 6 in this picture

Sorry Rob, I took it to be between the swing arm pivot & the centre of the hub.:nenau

Could somebody with an 1100 take the same measurement please.

I'm looking at the possibility of swapping out the backend in a Paralever airhead project. The Paralever swinging arm is 290 between the pins so the 1150 swinging arm will give a 2" extension.

353mm ... or so I made it. Roughly centre to centre though could be a few mm either way as I don't have anything more precise than a measuring tape and two eyeballs. :beerjug: I would have thought both bikes would have been closer though... 34cm and 35 seems to be a silly difference if you could get away without changing the dimension of a part... can both parts be interchanged between models? Anyone...?

They kept the wheelbase the same when they brought out the longer 6 speed box so yes shorter swing arm:blast

Of Course it's a mono frame. Got a big angle grinder ready to start carving the frame up...wouldn't do to damage a precious Paralever frame now would it. :proff
