can too much oil blow head gasket?

does anyone know weather having an extra 1 litre of engine oil will blow the head gasket or possibly give any other problems? previous owner had over filled it by a litre!

.....bike does have blown gasket just wondered if that could be the cause?........or possibly old age

can't see how too much oil would blow the head gasket. it seems to me, it would have it's work cut out to blow a crank seal as is often touted

I'd presume excess oil would piss out the breather rather than blow the head gasket. Someone with more knowledge of GS plumbing may correct me

Yup, excess oil will just fill up your air box I've tried it

edit: there is a plug on the LH side you can remove to drain the airbox.
