Can you upload chunks of info to a 2610?

I have already spent ages loading map data to my 2610 and now have a route to load up too. Can you upload the route without uploading all the maps again or do he maps have to be uploaded again too?

I always thought each upload overwrote everything.

You don't need to upload the maps again. If you did upload just 1 mapset, it would wipe the other maps, but you've already got the maps on the card, you can just upload the routes this time.

You should see a set of "Tickboxes" asking what you want to upload. You can choose just the Route details by only having that ticked.

Of course, the existing Map data you uploaded should cover the extent of the route otherwise the screen display just shows the "Here be dragons" base map.
