Canbus points

Besides the spare Canbus point under the false tank, is there any other spare points on the bike?

Do you mean 'power outlet'? It's just that Canbus is a computer network protocol. Or are you looking to plug a GS911 in?

Hmm, ah yes a power output point, bought a gps and want the bike's system to power it. I am already using the male point under the false tank but want to know if there is another somewhere. See the attached:

There's a power outlet below the headstock, it's taped up though and hard to find. I've wired my GPS to this. This is on my '05 GS, I don't know about GSAs or other model years.

Now then

I took my gps car charger to bits & wired it to the battery, the ciggarette charger fits perfectly behind the battery with room for some padding.

I made a bracket & have the gps sitting over the handlebar mounts, nice & out the way but still perfectly usable.

ExpatinIstanbul, thanks for the info, i had a look on my 800gs and could not find one there, also had a quick look around, seems as though there is only one on the 800.

Gs-ell, thanks fort the idea, I have a bike power cable that came with the Zumo, was hoping to connect it to the bikes system, now considering a direct connect to the battery.

I am open to other ideas though if anyone has got one?
